Andrew W.K.’s Tips for Good Living in 2015 | DigBoston | By Scott Murry
Andrew W.K has become a modern-day wellness guru, providing people with advice on a weekly basis through the Village Voice and motivational speaking engagements. We asked him about his resolutions for 2015, and his thoughts on wellness.
2015 resolutions. Go.
This year, I’ve set a goal to just be better. Just try to be better! Across the board, maybe if there’s always that voice in your head that can call you out on your own low-level behavior more, just listen to it more. Even if you get tempted to follow that more primal instinct of anger, shallowness, pettiness—and I’m very familiar with all those bad feelings—even depression and sadness, listen to that other voice … that there’s another way to feel. Just be nicer and better in every possible way.
How can you achieve that?
PARTY! Keep partying.
Word association: Change.
Maybe if you had a bathroom accident, you might change your clothes, or underwear at least.
It is its only association! Or maybe partying, I guess.
