INDIANA REVIEW: 'Moronic' Andrew W.K. Lacks Both 'Heart and Brains'

David Lindquist, Pop-Culture and Entertainment reporter for the IndyStar, reviewed Andrew's full band party set at the Fountain Square Music Festival in Indianapolis, IN on Friday, March 25th, 2016. An excerpt from Mr. Lindquist's full report is below:

"... As for the night's headliner, Andrew W.K. seems to value positivity as much as Kimya Dawson. But his moronic spectacle at the Fountain Square Theatre lacked both heart and brains.

Milking 2001 novelty tune "Party Hard" way past its sell-by date, Andrew W.K. performs a dozen variations of a song that celebrates the remedial genre of hair metal.

One of his gags is to play a guitar shaped like a slice of pizza. In the context of Andrew W.K., gregarious rocker Dave Grohl is a Rhodes scholar."
